Medieval Siege Weapons : Castle's Defense

Siege weapons were used to a castle of defense. You could land a devastating success of the castle walls that almost invariently the lock of the trap. Castle defender was only able to destroy some weapons siege of the fortress. Until many centuries later, as the castles themselves began working siege weapons and destroy the attackers.

When the term "siege weapons" is mentioned, one normally thinks of a catapult launching a missile. However, there are a variety of siege weapons, including trebuchet, onagres etc. Siege weapons have been improved over the centuries from the dark ages. Improvement of siege weapons to stop when gunpowder was invented. However, siege weapons are very effective in the previous century, so its use is undisputed, because they are easy to destroy a castle wall and access to even the mightiest of castles.

Some castles had many meters thick walls to ensure that they are destroyed because of the siege weapon. The destruction of a castle wall is a possible, but not a practical way to a castle fall. Sometimes, the attackers wanted to get the castle for their own purposes, so that they would destroy the meaning and purpose of the siege in the first place.

Then evolved in different forms, shoot fire projectiles at a great distance. Another tactic castle attackers used with siege weapons was to, instead of throwing rocks or stone at a castle, was to throw dead humans or cows inside the castle to spread diseases. As the castle was completely surrounded, there is no way to get rid of this, animals and diseases can easily be incorporated into the castle would rush to the castle of the trap.

For the defenders, siege weapons got them in a tight position. As I said, defenders began employing siege weapons too. Unfortunately, they needed a very good accuracy when attacking a moving target 2 feet is not the same as the destruction of a 200-meter static target.
