The History of Archery, Bows and Arrows

Archers were during the Middle Ages, the long-range infantry into battle. An experienced archer could fire arrows to 12 - 15 in just a minute, the reason for which they are extremely effective.

An archer with a good accuracy can be from a distance, firing a heavy armored troops into a weak point of the plate sometimes. Adding fire and poison arrows at long discovered - but in the dark ages, this has been improved and more often.

The British made many improvements to archery - most notorious the longbow which was so effective that it could easily pierce through a armory. Sometimes a recording from a very strong and trained Archer could destroy a shield!

The arrows suffered a lot of improvements, too. The first signs may only piercing damage, but at a later date, archers developed signs of blunt force to destroy armor and beat the opponent. Additional arrows of fire arrows and acid arrows (poison).

A bow itself was not very expensive to produce. The course is dependent on the quality itself - but also for an ordinary soldier would be very cheap or even free to steal arms from soldiers defeated was a very common practice. In addition, soldiers who could afford better arms for a small fortune in the arch itself composite bows were very expensive, and with even more would cost. Some nobles would adorn their arms with jewelry and family signs.

Fletching is the art of the arrows and improve. A good archer had to know fletching in order to successfully understand his profession and make arrows in times of need. Of course arrows were very difficult to produce, and therefore they were often very different goals.
