The medieval fashion are strongly influenced by the royal courts of Europe. The crusades are many beautiful materials such as fine silk, satin, velvet and brocade ate. Sumptary laws also helped to form the medieval fashion. Sumptary legislation limits the lower class people from the dressing station by reducing the money they spend on clothing. Under laws issued by Edward III only royalty were allowed to wear cloth of gold and purple silk. Lower women not wearing veils expensive. Both men and women like to wear very bright red. The color yellow was worn only by the Jewish community. At the beginning of the Middle Ages, women lose fitting clothes and poured on the ground with tight fitting sleeves around the wrist.
