Weapons Innovations of the Medieval Era

Although so many people think of the Middle Ages as "The Dark Ages", there were actually many great innovations in art, politics, and medieval weapons in this period.

There were so many other weapons and perfected in this period, with the exception of the knight's sword. New medieval weapons are for the larger and stronger fortresses.

Like a medieval knight in a battle of the equine (horse), he looked at his familiar pole weapons for attack and defense. Weapons stick especially on long poles. One of the most popular axles are medieval weapons or battle axe. Other pole arm weapons were spears and halberds. Medieval knights and warriors need a number of different types of weapons in a fight, depending on the type of combat situation they were in. If they are in close combat with the enemy, they would have a melee weapon. These types of medieval weapons are very effective in close combat, because they can be used to reduce the enemy repeatedly in quick succession. Flail are also popular among warriors as a deadly chain of medieval weapons.

The Middle Ages was a time of invention. Warriors and builders perfected existing trebuchet monstrous creation of medieval siege weapons. With all these innovations in medieval armor and weapons, the Middle Ages was an exciting (if deadly) period. How the Middle Ages, it was also a time of weapons innovation in recent times in the course of the 20th century.
